To request TC Business ID for Adobe (Token), please complete our Application Form, sign it and return it to us.

General Information about Application and Issuance

During the application process, the applicant / certificate owner is registered according to the TC TrustCenter certification guidelines based on the regulations for certificate class 2.  This requires e.g. the presentation of the following documents to TC TrustCenter:

  • a copy of the entry from the relevant public register (e.g. commercial register) or equivalent document.
  • a signed copy of the identity card of the certificate owner if a natural person.  In all other cases, a signed copy of the identity card of the ordering person.

As soon as we have received and successfully verified the necessary documents that we need to issue the certificate, we will issue your TC Business ID for Adobe on a USB Token.  You will receive the token with the certificate by mail.  The associated PIN will be communicated to you after we have received the acknowledgement of receipt.  Please refer to the installation instructions for more information about the installation and use of the token.   You will be notified before the validity of the certificate ends so that you have enough time to apply for a followup certificate.

Note:  The signature that is inserted into the PDF by TC Business ID for Adobe is a so-called Advanced signature.  Depending on national law, such a signature is accepted for electronic invoicing.  Please observe the relevant laws and regulations.
