ChosenSecurity is now offering Code Signing certificates through our partner VeriSign.  Code Signing certificates allow content publishers and software developers to digitally sign software objects, macros, device drivers, firmware images, virus updates, and configuration files for secure delivery over the Internet.

Digital IDs are virtual "shrinkwrap" for your software; if your code is tampered with in any way after it is signed, the digital signature will break and alert customers that the code is not trustworthy.

A Code Signing Certificate for Authenticode Technology protects against impersonation and tampering when any publisher plans to distribute code or content over the Internet.
Used with the Signing tools part of the Sun Java SDK, this certificate is used for generating digital signatures for Java Archive (JAR) files.
The Microsoft Office and VBA Signing solution allows software publishers to digitally sign Macros for Office 2000, Office 2003, Office XP, and VBA objects.
In conjunction with Netscape's signing tools, this certificate enables you to digitally sign software files that target the Netscape 4.x browsers for deployment.
The Macromedia Shockwave solution allows software publishers to digitally sign the content created with Macromedia Director 8 Shockwave Studio.
The Marimba Castanet Channel solution allows software publishers to digitally sign the content which they distribute on the Castanet Channel.
